There have been meaningful advances in the field of history of health/sickness during the last four decades in Colombia. In spite of this, if our production is compared to that of the richest countries in Latin America (Brazil, Mexico and Argentina), the task of supporting these types of studies in our context still re-mains urgent. Especially as it is a complex and rich field, in which there is still a lot to be done.
